Conservatory roof insulation that makes the room usable all year
Year-Round Comfort Solutions
Most conservatories are a greenhouse in summer and a fridge in winter, so they end up storing the bikes. Replacing the glazing in the roof with insulated thermal panels fixes the temperature without rebuilding anything.
- Warm enough to sit in come winter
- Comfortable in the middle of summer
- Your existing frames and walls stay put
- No glare, no drumming when it rains
The honest version
An old conservatory roof is a hole in your insulation
Everything else about the room is reasonable. The walls are built, the floor is laid, the frames are usually sound. The roof is the problem: polycarbonate and glass let heat pour out in winter and pour in all summer, which is why so many conservatories get used for about eight weeks a year.
People reach for blinds, then a fan, then an electric heater, and end up spending steadily on a room that still is not comfortable. None of that touches the cause.
Changing what the roof is made of does. The glazing panels come out, insulated thermal panels go into the same bars, and the room starts behaving like the rest of the house.
Sound familiar?
- Unusable from late morning on a sunny day, whatever the blinds are doing.
- Cold enough in winter that you shut the inside doors on it and forget it exists.
- Rain on the roof loud enough to drown out the television.
- Furniture and flooring fading from the glare coming straight down.
What we do
Conservatory roofs and glazing
Roof insulation is the bulk of our work and the thing we know best. We also do the glazing jobs that come with looking after a house.
Conservatory roof insulation
Insulated thermal panels in place of the existing glass or polycarbonate. The structure stays, the temperature changes, and you get a ceiling instead of a skylight.
Misted & blown double glazing
When a sealed unit fails, the glass mists between the panes and never clears. The unit gets replaced, not the whole window — far cheaper than most people fear.
Windows & doors
Replacement uPVC and composite windows and doors, measured and fitted properly, with the Building Regulations side handled rather than ignored.
Conservatory refurbishment
The jobs that come up alongside a roof: guttering, leaking seals, tired frames, and finishing the inside once the new roof is in.

Why us
A small outfit that turns up and finishes
You deal with the person who surveys the job and the people who fit it, because they are the same company. Nobody is working to a sales target, and nobody is going to sit in your front room until nine o’clock.
We supply written quotes. If insulated panels are not right for your conservatory, we will say so.
- Fully covered by public liability insurance

How it goes
Four steps, no surprises
You get in touch
Call, or send the form with rough dimensions and what the roof is made of now. We will tell you straight away whether it is a job for us.
We survey it
A proper look at the frames, the bars and the existing structure, because what the roof can carry decides what we can put on it. Free, and no obligation after.
You get a written quotation
No pressure to sign anything on the day.
We fit it and clear up
Old panels removed and taken away for disposal and recycling, new panels in, everything made good. We leave the room ready to use and the garden as we found it.
